I knew I wanted to do hair since I was just a kid. My education began right away at the age of 18 in the cosmetology program at Texas City High School, and I've loved every minute of it since.
With 18 years at another Aveda salon in Galveston, and 7 years with Toni & Guy, I was truly able to hone in on my cutting skills. Fast forward to now, and I am happy to say that I've found a home at Lavish where my personality, skills, and experience are appreciated!

Hairstyling has been my life since I graduated from San Jacinto in 2005. Having taken part in advanced training programs through Aveda & Toni and Guy, I have gained the knowledge to help create that "perfect" look for all of my clients.

I've always loved doing hair. As a kid in school I used to get into trouble for playing with the other girls' hair. Whether it was the hair or the getting into trouble, I loved every minute of it.
I've had the opportunity to participate in several advanced training programs from Aveda and Toni & Guy, to the Vidal Sasson Academy. I'd say I gather most of my inspiration from fellow artists and educators.
While I don't have a favorite, I really love doing women's short haircuts. The confidence that can be created with just a few snips - it's what makes this career all the more worthwhile.
I received my cosmetology license at the College of the Mainland, and continued my education at Aveda's Advanced training program as well as Toni & Guy's Back to Basic and Advanced training programs.
I consider myself to be old-school, and if you took a peek at my Ipod playlist you'd find a mixture of old school R&B, Hip-Hop, and Pop.

Thanks to the encouragement from our colorist Bri, I started coming to Lavish Salon to sit in on weekly education classes when I was just 13.
Having the opportunity to surround myself with such creativity, talent and passion at a young age, is what truly inspired me to become a hairstylist.
If I had to pick one thing I love doing most, it would have to be working with blondes and balayage highlighting. I love a good challenge, and find most of my inspiration through other hair artists on social media.
